High Court Refuses to Review California Sentencing System
WASHINGTON - The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday declined to hear a constitutional challenge to California's determinate sentencing law, refusing to accept an appeal filed in the wake of a June decision by the California Supreme Court holding that the state's sentencing scheme remains sound.
