Two law firms traded briefs late last week over which is more qualified to represent a class of employees seeking to sue the Howrey LLP estate.
New York-based Outten & Golden LLP and Los Angeles-based Blum Collins LLP are vying to serve as class counsel to former Howrey employees who claim that the now-defunct firm failed to provide sufficient notice of mass layoffs as required by law.
