Judge Says Judiciary's Under Attack

SAN FRANCISCO - Chief U.S. District Judge Marilyn Hall Patel told lawyers gathered for the Northern California judges' conference over the weekend that the judiciary is "under attack" as a result of the latest Congressional decision to curtail judicial sentencing power.
