Settlement Reached in Schwab Case

The Charles Schwab Corp., which last month agreed to pay $200 million to settle federal law claims that it misrepresented the risks associated with the YieldPlus Fund's investment in mortgage-backed securities, announced Wednesday that it would pay an additional $35 million to resolve the remaining California state law claims in the case.
