After 20 Years, Judge Still Relishes Challenge of Trial

LOS ANGELES - Judge Howard A. Schwab is as much a scholar as a he is a jurist. In addition to a career that includes 20 years as a judge, a three-month stint as a pro tem on the 2nd District Court of Appeal and 15 years as a deputy attorney general for the state Department of Justice, Schwab has taught both psychiatry and law at USC for 25 years.
