Politics Motivates 'English-Only' Backers Suit

Letter to the Editor - The Daily Journal's recent report on a misguided lawsuit challenging interpreter guidelines for federally-funded hospitals and clinics ("Interpreters In Hospitals Are Subject of Suit," May 23 Daily Journal) tells only half the story. The facts behind this politically-motivated litigation make clear why three different federal courts have all rejected the plaintiffs' attempts to undermine laws that protect equal health care access for all.
