Police Records Ruling

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Police Department and the district attorney must turn over to a civil rights lawyer 10 years of records on officers accused of misconduct, a federal judge has ruled.

        LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Police Department and the district attorney must turn over to a civil rights lawyer 10 years of records on officers accused of misconduct, a federal judge has ruled.
        District Attorney Steve Cooley also must submit within 30 days to a deposition in the case brought by a man who claims he was framed on a drug charge, Judge Robert A. Takasugi ruled.
