High Court Split on Mazda Case

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Supreme Court wrestled Wednesday over whether to allow a plaintiff to sue Mazda Motor Corp. in a California court for the death of his wife, but Justice Elena Kagan's recusal from the case could prove pivotal in upholding a ruling that blocked the lawsuit.
