9th Circuit reversed again on ERISA case

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday reiterated the strict standard for plaintiffs in Employment Retire Security Class Action lawsuits, reversing a Ninth Circuit decision that held biotech company Amgen Inc. liable to its employees for the drastic losses to its stocks.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday reiterated the strict standard for plaintiffs in Employee Retirement Income Security Act class action lawsuits, reversing a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decision that said Amgen Inc. was not protected from liability to its employees after drastic stock losses.
