Lumos Labs to pay $2 million for saying games help cognitive function

The Federal Trade Commission added another notch to its campaign against unsupported health-based marketing on Tuesday, announcing a $2 million settlement with San Francisco-based Lumos Labs Inc. over claims its mobile games could ease and prevent cognitive problems.
