Oakland Says Finance Firms Gouged City

The city of Oakland on Wednesday filed a federal class action antitrust case against 37 financial firms, including Bank of America Corp., J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., and Wachovia Corp., charging that the companies have gouged the city through illegal price fixing and bid rigging.
