Obama makes Decker nomination for Central District U.S. attorney official
The White House announced Wednesday that Eileen M. Decker, the Los Angeles deputy mayor in charge of public safety and counter-terrorism, was the president's choice to lead the Central District's U.S. attorney's office.

LOS ANGELES - President Barack Obama made his choice for U.S. attorney for the Central District official Wednesday, formally nominating Eileen M. Decker to the position.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein's office confirmed the move, which the Daily Journal first reported last month. The confirmation process will likely take several months to complete, according to sources familiar with the proceedings. ...
