Sergio Garcia, one of California's few undocumented lawyers, goes solo in Chico

Finally armed with a license in early 2014, Garcia struck out on his own, opening a law office with one assistant and donated furniture in the midsize city 90 miles north of Sacramento. Here, he handles auto accident disputes and immigration quandaries for field workers and housekeepers, nannies and janitors.
