AB 2288: Bill will help protect working minors

Assembly Bill 2288, the Child Labor Protection Act of 2014, was enacted as part of a national call for increased protections for working minors.

Assembly Bill 2288, the Child Labor Protection Act of 2014, was enacted as part of a national call for increased protections for working minors. This bill, codified as new Labor Code Section 1311.5, expands in three areas existing California child labor laws that govern hours, wages and working conditions.
