Prior to Assembly Bill 802's passage, information from California's large-scale providers of private arbitration services was free to remain just that - private. Effective as of Jan. 1, 2015, those protections will be curtailed. The bill, signed by Gov. Jerry Brown Sept. 30, 2014, mandates that large-scale private arbitration companies make the following information regarding their completed arbitrations available to the public:
