LAUSD says arbitration denied it due process

Arbitrator ordered school district to pay charter school $7.75 million for denying it classroom space.

After being ordered to pay $7.75 million to a charter school it illegally deprived of classroom space for three years, the Los Angeles Unified School District is protesting its own arbitration process, claiming a retired court of appeal justice chosen to hear the dispute denied LAUSD due process in the closed-door proceeding.
