Pro bono taking shape in Brazil after getting kick-start from Los Angeles' Public Counsel
With the help of Dan Grunfeld, former CEO of Public Counsel, Instituto Pro Bono has brought the concept of pro bono to Brazil, one step at a time. The country's bar association authorized pro bono last year, and the work has just begun to decide how to help those who need legal help but can't afford it.
