Owners Can Forfeit Trademark Rights If They Don't Exercise Quality Control

As the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals confirmed earlier this year, owners unintentionally can forfeit their trademark rights if they fail to exercise quality control after granting another party the right to use a trademark.
