The Markets -- Los Angeles Multifamily

Southern California continues to be one of the best performing markets in the country in terms of rent growth and occupancy levels. This is due largely to the diverse economy riding the recession storm better than most markets in the country. While we don't expect to see performance levels anywhere near that of 2000 and 2001, we do see the local submarkets stabilizing in 2002 and continuing a trend toward conservative but stabilized rent growth for 2003.
