Firm Sponsors Loyola Law Class In Litigation About Elder Abuse

Thanks to a donation from the San Pedro office of Wilkes & McHugh, students at Loyola Law School can learn about elder abuse during the fall semester. The class, which meets every Wednesday, focuses on elder abuse litigation, especially cases involving compliance and noncompliance of adult nursing homes and hospitals with federal and state regulations. Stephen Garcia, an attorney at Wilkes & McHugh, teaches the course.
