Coke Was Not 'Real Thing,' Lawsuit Claims

LOS ANGELES - A Laguna Niguel postal employee has sued the Coca-Cola Co., claiming a can of Coke he bought was not the "real thing." Lawrence Van Rensselaer claims in a lawsuit filed Wednesday in Los Angeles that the can of Coke contained a "yellowish brown" liquid with a "peculiar odor" that landed him in the emergency room, where doctors pumped his stomach.
