Lawyer Faces Suit for Delays That Destroy Appeal

A law professor who lost her case against a developer after a secret tape recording of her was played at trial has sued the attorney she hired to file her appeal. The attorney, Michael A. Lotta, failed to file transcripts on time with the appellate court, which dismissed the appeal.
