Justices Deal Major Blow To 150 Cities In Tax Case

SAN FRANCISCO - In a decision that could invalidate taxes adopted in 150 cities across the state in the early-to-mid 1990s, the California Supreme Court ruled Monday that legal challenges to local tax measures are not subject to a three-year statute of limitations following enactment of the tax.
