Ruling Lets In-House Counsel Divulge Confidences

LOS ANGELES - In a ruling that clarifies that in-house lawyers are people too, a state appellate court ruled Wednesday that in-house attorneys, like any other employees, can talk to their own lawyers about possible claims against an employer - even if they disclose some of their employer's privileged information.
