Employers soon may find it is easier to preserve the at-will nature of the employment relationship. By having employees sign express written agreements specifying the at-will nature of employment and limiting the means by which the agreement can be modified, employers can effectively insulate themselves from wrongful-discharge claims based on an implied agreement to terminate only for cause.
