Lawyers Juggle the Billions in Big-Tobacco Case
As my grandfather would say, "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush." Of course, he often said this while wearing his underwear over his pants. Recently, lawyers for a class of sick smokers in Florida decided that a billion dollars in hand is worth $145 billion dollars in the bush. Obviously, these lawyers must be wearing their underwear on their heads.
