Creditor cannot grab $28 million of plaintiff attorney's big win, judge rules

Plaintiffs' attorney Joseph M. Alioto has dodged a $28 million bill, for now. A federal judge has ruled that her court is not the proper venue for a creditor to seek a portion of attorney fees that Alioto won in an ongoing lawsuit.
