Strike Force Finds Flaws in Riverside Court

Judges aren't involved enough in settling cases. They delay too many hearings. And their scheduling system is so ineffective that some matters languish for months. Those are among problems plaguing Riverside County Superior Court, according to a "strike force" of outside jurists Chief Justice Ronald George sent to help Riverside clear a severe criminal trial backlog and develop better case-flow procedures.
