Suit Seeks to Expedite Backlog-Plagued Naturalization Process

Four immigrants sued federal immigration officials in Los Angeles on Tuesday over processing delays and challenged a new policy that bars immigrants from getting a citizenship interview until after a criminal background check is performed.
