Plaintiffs' firms avoid disqualification in class action, 9th Circuit rules

A team of plaintiffs' firms that offered incentives to clients to favor a class action settlement avoided getting kicked off the lawsuit Monday, when the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled state law does not stipulate automatic disqualification exists following a conflict of interest in class complaints.
