9th Circuit declines to rehear 'Dancing Baby' case

The court amended its opinion to define how the ruling affects automated copyright-flagging tools.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals declined last week to rehear a landmark fair use decision, but did remove language from its opinion that could have granted immunity to automated programs that flag supposedly copyright-violating content.
