'Robinson' Opinion Will Be Important Economic-Loss Doctrine Clarification

Allan and Gretchen Wettig - In product-liability cases, California's "economic loss doctrine" long has precluded tort recovery for purely economic damages, including "damages for inadequate value, costs of repair and replacement of the defective product or consequent loss of profits."
