Tenacious Tony Thwarts a Thief on the Trot

Although police counsel people never to chase after criminals, sometimes one can catch a thief. Just before 2 p.m. on May 17, Tony drove up to his residence. As he entered his driveway, the defendant was exiting Tony's house. Tony thought that was strange because he had never seen the defendant before and, because he lived alone, he couldn't figure who this person could have been visiting. In short, Tony thought the defendant might be a burglar. Tony was right.
