Court grants D.C. Comics documents access
Six years after they first materialized, the 9th Circuit granted D.C. Comics access to a package of documents that could reveal key information in its copyright disputes with the heirs of Superman's creators, Jerome Siegel and Joe Shuster.

LOS ANGELES - Like a scintillating plot for a new comic book, it appeared at D.C. Comics Inc. in the summer of 2006: a bundle of secret documents with an anonymous cover letter outlining attorney Marc Toberoff's alleged "master plan" to take control of the rights to the publisher's famous "Superman" character, which it launched in the 1930s.
