City appeals judge's decision

Costa Mesa will appeal a trial court decision barring the city's charter resolution from June's primary ballot. Officials also placed City Clerk Julie Folcik on paid administrative leave over her "significant professional failure."

The Costa Mesa City Council voted 4-1 Tuesday evening to appeal a trial court decision barring the city's charter resolution from June's primary ballot. Councilwoman Wendy Leece dissented.
