Supreme Court to consider whether injunction law bars healthcare challenge

The justices will begin its three days of arguments over the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act next Monday by weighing whether a federal injunction law blocks the suit against the individual mandate before it goes into effect.

WASHINGTON - The Obama administration first argued a federal injunction law blocked legal challenges to the controversial provision of its health care overhaul requiring the purchase of insurance, but it later changed its tune as those cases moved towards the U.S. Supreme Court.
