This week rapper Dr. Dre released his first album in seven years, "Dr. Dre 2001." On the same day that this follow-up to his rap classic "The Chronic" hit stores, Dre's lawyer was in court pursuing one strand of a life--and-death saga that would tax the powers of any street poet - and possibly Homer and Shakespeare - to tell.
