Women in Prison -- Study Blames Drug Laws for Huge Increases at Twice Men's Rate

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The number of women in prison in the United States has increased at nearly double the rate for men since 1980, primarily because of drug arrests, according to a study released Wednesday by a national nonprofit group.
