McKenna beats back asbestos suit for client

CertainTeed Corp. admitted that its products contained asbestos, but argued the deceased's employers had the responsibility to make sure that workers were using products safely.

Christopher W. Wood, a partner at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP, successfully defended building products manufacturer CertainTeed Corp. in an asbestos suit filed by the family of a plumber who used the company's products and died of lung cancer.
