Long Beach attorney to get 10 years for helping client hide income

A Long Beach attorney pleaded guilty Monday to helping the owner of a chain of marijuana stores hide some of his income.


Richard C. Brizendine, 59, a partner at Evans, Brizendine & Silver in Long Beach, pleaded guilty to two counts of money laundering and conspiracy to avoid federal reporting requirements in front of U.S. District Judge James V. Selna in Santa Ana.
