WASHINGTON - Two of Southern California's most widely recognized sheriffs went zero-for-two at the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday.
The court declined to take up a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decision, allowing a beaten and stabbed prisoner's civil lawsuit to proceed against Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca. Baca v. Starr, 11-834.
