Scarier than 'Blair Witch'

Giving new meaning to the term "entertainment retail center," shoppers at a mall in Fairfax, Va., can watch as people have their eyeballs slit open and reshaped. Visual Freedom Center, a tenant in the Fair Oaks Mall, specializes in laser eye surgery to correct nearsightedness and farsightedness. After the eyeball is sliced open, the cornea is zapped with a laser to correct the curvature; passersby are treated to live coverage via a television screen.
