Highest business tax rates in Southern California

In the Kosmont Cost of Doing Business Survey (r), Los Angeles was one of five Southern California communities to receive a Very High Cost $$$$ Kosmont Cost Rating; the other communities being Compton, Culver City, Inglewood and Santa Monica. Additionally, it received a High Kosmont Activity Rating by completing 10 or more public-private transactions within the past 12 months or fiscal year.
