Mervyn's Loses Attempt to Have Class Decertified

SANTA ANA - An Orange County Superior Court judge decided Wednesday that more than 1,600 low-level managers at Mervyn's department stores in California will get to retain their class-action status in a multimillion-dollar lawsuit pending against store owner Dayton Hudson Corp. - an entity that has been accused of working its employees up to 80 hours a week without overtime pay.
