U.S. Supreme Court Declines to Hear Marcos, Gilead

The U.S. Supreme Court decided Monday not to intervene for a second time in a long-running class action case against the estate of Ferdinand E. Marcos, the late dictator of the Philippines.

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Supreme Court declined Monday to intervene for a second time in a long-running class action case against the estate of Ferdinand E. Marcos, the late dictator of the Philippines. The justices also declined to take a securities class action case involving Foster City-based biotech company Gilead Life Sciences Inc.
