Cross Border Lawsuits Improperly Served For a Decade, Case Finds

LOS ANGELES - In a decision that could delay U.S.-Mexico litigation and void past default judgments against Mexican residents and companies, a federal judge in Los Angeles has ruled that proper service of lawsuits can only be done through Mexico's Central Authority.
