William Huss, 1932-2008

Retired Superior Court Judge William Huss, often described as an "old-fashioned" law-and-order bench officer who required attorneys to salute the American flag each morning in his courtroom, died last week at his home on Bunker Hill.

LOS ANGELES - Retired Superior Court Judge William Huss, often described as an "old-fashioned" law-and-order bench officer who required attorneys to salute the American flag each morning in his courtroom, died last week at his home on Bunker Hill.

He was 76 and died of complications with pulmonary fibrosis.
