Defense attorneys in antitrust trial claim customers weren't harmed

During closing arguments, government attorneys called the customers "cherrypicked" and instead focused on the documents written between executives and employees at Bazaarvoice Inc. before its acquisition of ratings agency PowerReviews Inc.

SAN FRANCISCO - In the closing arguments of a case testing whether the merger of two top competitors in the ratings and reviews market violated antitrust laws, defense attorneys asked a federal judge Tuesday to give weight to the many customers who testified that their businesses are unharmed.
