Improper Fidelities

Forum Column - By Joel A. Davis - A funny thing happened on the way to the U.S. Supreme Court in the case of Medical Board of California v. Hason (No. 02-479). But there was nothing amusing about the flip-flop of state Attorney General Bill Lockyer, who, just weeks before the case was to be argued, asked the Supreme Court to dismiss the State Medical Board's petition for writ of certiorari that had been granted only three months earlier.
