Public Offices Are Told What A Scaled-Back Budget Means

SAN FRANCISCO - In his budget proposal for the coming year, San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown suggests reductions of $2.2 million for the city attorney's office and $2.9 million for the district attorney's office but an additional $2.3 million for the public defender.
